How do I identify which model I have to purchase an accessory?Updated 2 months ago
There are two kinds of hose connections for furMe accessories.
- Pull-off connections
- Button-release connections
Original FM-01 models through Mid 2024 have the Pull-Off connections. Starting Mid 2024, we are transitioning to 2nd generation FM-01 models that have button-release connections. As we transition, either model will be shipped. Professional PLUS FM-02 models have button-release connections. ULTRA FM-04 models have the button-release connections.
Unsure which yours is? Check the end of the hose where you attach your tools. Is there an oval blue release button? This button notes your machine is a 2nd generation FM-01, an FM-02, or an FM-04. You should purchase accessories either labeled for the FM-02 model, or for the new universal hose.
If your model features the pull-off connection, you should only purchase tools specifically made for the FM-01 model. Filters should be purchased by model, not by the hose connection.
