How to use the hair-ejection levers on the brushesUpdated 2 months ago
Our furMe brushes come with a handy CLEAN fur-ejection lever to push the collected hair into your hose and WHOOSH collected into your furMe. No flyaways and no mess! Simply press the eject or "CLEAN" levers with your thumbs so you can keep grooming. Suction feel softer than expected at the opening? This is by design! The full suction power is directed to the opening of the brush only when you press the CLEAN lever, not when it's on your pet's skin for their safety and comfort. Toggle through all available speeds on your unit to see what suction power works best for your pet.
The grooming brush is great for medium to long hair coats, and the de-shedding brush is best for any length coat, pets with an undercoat, or short hair! Both have openings to capture any flyaways, dander, etc as you're working, but simply use the CLEAN lever to push the collected hair into your furMe hose. Just make sure you're using the appropriate tool for your pet's coat.
PRO TIP: If you are experiencing a "poof-out" of your pet's fur when you press the CLEAN lever of your Grooming Brush, this is likely due to the fine, fluffy undercoat you are collecting. In this case, we recommend doing a once-over with the Deshedding Tool first to grab the fluffy undercoat, then finishing off with the Grooming Brush for the top coat layer.
